The Astromap in Astrocartography
What is an Astromap?
What are the Two Lines in an AstroMap in Astrocartography?
The AstroMap has two lines, the planets with straight vertical lines show the natal planet meridian line. This is based on the position of the planets in your Natal chart in the meridian plane. In other words, these are the planets aspected with Medium Coeli (Midheaven).
The second line in the Astromap is usually slanted and curving. These are the planet’s position in the horizon plane based on your date, time, and location of birth. These are the planets aspected with the Ascendant.
These two lines indicate geographic areas where a particular astrological influence affects you while you are in this geographic region.
The most powerful areas are located where the two lines intersect. You can attract different kinds of situations depending on the orbs, aspect, and planetary combination of these lines. Every astrological symbol and aspect in the AstroMap has its own meaning. A certified professional astrologer can help you utilize the astrological influence for your best advantage.
