In this article I shall reveal the secrets of nodes and the key for you to unlock your destiny, or the south node (your past life) and north node (your path in life). These two points are in opposite signs and houses, and the main goal here is to balance it.
Why does these two aspects causing so much pain in my life?
The nodes cause such pain and it is the reason for some ups and downs in our life. The reason behind this is it prevents you not to get stuck on either points. The nodes keeps forcing us to overcome challenges that will lead us on either north or south node (depends on the planets aspecting) to learn on how balance it. When your life is entirely focused on your south node (your comfort zone) something will happen into your life that will force you to remember your north node (path of growth and development) and it works also the other way around. That is one of the secrets of the nodes, when that scenario happens to it will be painful because it will destroy all the things you hold on with your south node or north node.
E.g., someone very dependent (cancer is the sign that is expert on being a dependent crybaby) that will loss his parents and live alone by himself. He will stand in his own feet without any help, start taking care of himself and will apply for a job to provide his own needs. Eventually he will learn to become independent and others will depend on him. It may sound easy to you but the actual process and the reality is something like this. Your parents might die, abandon you, split-up and leave in separate places and you don’t have any relatives that are helpful to you. As time passes another scenario will come up as you keep holding on and embracing your south node. Soon you will become dependent again on other friends, lovers, etc. that will use you, hurt you or abuse you causing you so much pain and misery. Then you finally let go to your south node and decide that you’re should not become dependent anymore. But, when she gets stuck again in the opposite side of her south node (which is the north node in Capricorn) Circumstances will make her decide that she needs others. And being dependent is not that bad, having a family is good and not all she wanted in life is a career.
Jefferson (not his real name) keeps asking me how to prevent this kind of terror in his life and I told him I don’t encourage prevention as it will block your spiritual growth and he keeps asking me about the will power of men. You could see it in his eyes that he’s positive and determined to do everything just to make sure that he will never learn the teachings of his twelfth house. I told him that you can practice your will but, remember that God will still do something to make you go into the path of your north node in twelfth house.
The dilemma of south node in sixth house and north node in the twelfth house is ego. He will experience workmates that will abhor him for that attitude. Twelfth house is the opposite of the sixth house so he needs to become more humble, selfless. It is also important that he become more isolated so he becomes connected with his subconscious and get in touch in spirituality. Though he supposed to become a priest but his ego took over, and he was kicked out from the seminary. So this will make an idea that maybe he was not destined to learn the twelfth house teaching?
The answer is no because he was too much in-touch with the twelve house and he forgets the teachings of the sixth house. Planets aspected to his north node that forces him to embrace the north node might not longer connected so he come back to his comfort zone. This happens for one reason and that is for you to balance it. Whatever you do you will come back as being a north node person and become a south node person again unless you balanced these the points in your chart.
To make the story short, Jefferson is forcing himself to work and have a career and did not want to embrace his destiny, so he applied for a job and he got some new rivals and enemy in the first week of his job. Then he keeps on enforcing his will power until he got an accident broke his leg and eventually he cannot stand up and bedridden for a long time. Guess what? He’s in the path of his twelfth house because of that incident. Whatever you do you cannot run from the lessons of your destiny. But when your north and south node are tamed and balanced, how will you determine your destiny and what is its connection to the north and south nodes of the moon with it?
A great example here is Monica (not her real name) who is a very private person and doesn’t want to socialize. She was forced to stand alone and gain money from her hard work and the circumstances forced her to communicate with different people. When she finally balanced her Capricorn north node in third house and her Cancer south node in ninth house, she realized that the terrible things that happened to her help her to face her destiny.

Your destiny is called Vertex (also found in your natal chart) or the destiny’s gate. It will open to you or you will have an Idea of what you want in life when you finally balanced the north and south node.
About Jefferson, he’s still struggling for his life lessons and he’s refusing to balance the points. For Monica, after balancing both points she realized that she wants to become a public figure with millions of followers so she can endorse or sell things that people will buy. Being a business woman and socializing with much travel and conversation, helped her overcome her isolated, passive, dependent attitude.
